A very lovely gentleman took me to Flying Fish at Pyrmont for lunch on Sunday.
This is what I wore on what was a blissfully hot day!
I enjoyed an entree of white anchovies, smoked tomato, and toast, and my dining companion started with scampi in paperbark with macadamia butter.
Then, for main, I ordered Noosa spanner crab, 750g, salt and pepper style. The man of the moment selected the king prawns.
We finished a bottle of gorgeous Victorian pinot noir over dessert - milk chocolate mousse with blood orange and earl grey sorbet, and elderflower strawberries with rosemilk and strawberry sorbet.
If you like seafood, and water views, I highly recommend Flying Fish. It's a lovely restaurant for lunch and can be accessed by water taxi. It has a lovely relaxed ambience, whilst being fine dining, and had a beautifully romantic, elegant feel. I had a spectacular day! xxx
